This book club meets once a month to discuss sci-fi or fantasy books voted on by members.   We meet in the quiet, spacious back room of Old Wives Tales, a restaurant near the intersection of NE Sandy and E. Burnside.  There is an extensive menu of food and drink, and it is possible to eat before or during the meeting.

The SciFi Book Club in Vancouver meets the Second Monday Evening of the month at the Barnes & Nobles in Vancouver, WA. We have enjoyed the Science Fiction/Fantasy/Horror Genre in books. Join us to discuss new possible books, leave messages on the message board to discuss ideas and topics, put forth new books to read, and old favorite, while enjoying the ability to meet people who also want to discuss it all.

We focus on creating a fun and friendly way for women to join RPG games regardless of experience levels. The only prerequisite for joining the Lady Monster-Slaying Society is that you are ready to... SLAY SOME MONSTERS! The LMSS is a diverse bunch of misfits who currently have several ongoing D&D 4E campaigns that meet at Red Castle Games.
