11 Meetup Groups match “Sci-Fi/Fantasy” near Enfield, CT
To all the sci-fi and fantasy readers in the New Haven area! I'd love to get a few people together and read and discuss sci-fi and fantasy books, say once a month. Reading is an inherently solitary endeavor, but it would be great to get a group of people who love to read sci-fi and fantasy together. I started this group with three ideas in mind: it would be great to be able to talk over interesting and thought-provoking books and ideas with others, sometimes it's nice to be pushed to read a book …
Are you a 30-something or older Sci Fi/Fantasy fan living on or near the CT Shoreline? If yes, then WELCOME to Connecticut Sci Fi Fanatics. This is a group for us older-in-age-young-at-heart science fiction nerds to meet up and hang out with each other, talk about our favorite movies, TV shows & books, play board games, go to a movie, or just meet up somewhere to have a great time.
I started this group because I love to read Sci-Fi and Fantasy books, but I rarely have anyone to discuss them with. I've only been in CT for a few months, and I would love to meet like-minded individuals that I can have fun with and also share my love for the fantastical.
We meet to watch and discuss our favorite sci-fi TV programs, film, and go to conventions and other events.
Meetup details are available only to members.

For those who are not living in Boston area or the eastern side of Mass I want to invite people from the sometimes lonely and forgotten Western Mass. I want to make a group that will have a bunch of like-minded individuals with a passion for Anime, Cosplay, Video Gaming, maybe some sci-fi/comic book nerd love on the side, to come together and make new friends and have a great time! There are too many of us out there to not know each other and share the things we love.
We started out as Dr. Who Club, and watch that at most of our Meetups, but a lot of us are fans of other series like Torchwood, Downton Abbey, Sherlock, Misfits, Red Dwarf and other BBC Series. We have had a few Downton Abbey Meetups already. What is Dr. Who? As you may know, Doctor Who and his companions travel through space and time in the Tardis, having many great adventures. It's listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest-running science fiction series. The classic series r …

Hello and Welcome to our little group ! We are all about getting together to attend conventions, movies and to do gaming. Also, please check out the Facebook page for upcoming events and topics of interest, in addition to those listed here.

Looking for people interested in programming, engineering, fabrication, makerism, science fiction, posthumanism, philosophy of technology, etc. in southern Berkshire County (Pittsfield and south). In addition to holding regular meetings on a variety of topics a long term goal of the group is to organize and finance a hackerspace in or near Great Barrington. If we had a hackerspace then we could look into pooling our money to purchase a Replicator 2! (Group photo taken from here: http://commons.w …
Sometimes being a geek girl is a lonely experience. It's hard connect with other women when they're staring at you strangely because you're trying to explain your theory that the nature of a child's mutation stems partially from genetics as seen in Polaris and Magneto, but mostly from some sort of trauma before puberty - the time in which most mutants first exhibit abilities. Ex: Nightcrawler wanted to disappear because of his demonic appearance, and he did. You flashed 'em a little bit of your …
