This group is for readers and writers of science fiction, fantasy, and horror in any media: prose, film, or comics. Our aim is to facilitate discussion on the art and craft of storytelling, both modern and ancient. Monthly topics will be provided, guided by current discussions and group requests. Writers are encouraged attend, though if you are a reader/consumer of entertainment, you will enjoy the discussions as well.
DASFA is a science fiction and fantasy fan club that has been meeting monthly since the early 1970s. We meet on the third Saturday (except August & December) at the Broadway Book Mall (200 S. Broadway in Denver) at 7 pm. Programs include authors, science talks, conversation and more, followed by a party at a member's house.
