Sacramento Sci-Fi Group Meetup

Did you know there's many existing sci-fi/fantasy clubs in the Sacramento area? All clubs/ships welcome guests to sit in on meetings, if you wish to join it's a nominal annual due which goes to club expenses including annual awards. Contact me for info (info@ussoberon.com) USS Oberon (2nd Friday of every month at the main SMUD building at 65th & Hwy 50) is the ONLY Starfleet International chartered sci-fi club in the Sacramento area and has been around for over 15 years. The Black Death is the 6th Marine Strike Group attached to the USS Oberon, it is for those who are interested in a more military-like club where emphasis is around activities such as paintball and indoor kart racing as well as organizing charitable events. IKV Fire Dagger is the oldest Klingon-based club in the Sacramento area (Meets the 1st Friday of every month at the UC Davis Galleria Round Table Pizza) and is for those of you with a warrior heart (or at least just really love Klingons!) 327th Galactic Honor Guard is the only Star Wars based club in the Sacramento area (meets just after the IKV Fire Dagger meeting) and welcomes all Jedi and Sith! (And other Star Wars fans!)

IKV Fire Dagger and the Galactic Honor Guard meet on the First Friday of every month, a minimal annual due is required for those interested in being full members of the club, lots of emphasis in the Fire Dagger about the annual canned food drive to help the needy organizations of Sacramento (this past year went to the Sacramento Receiving Home).
