Our next meeting:
Science Fiction/San Francisco (Santa Rosa Meetup) May Meeting
Because many members said they could not make it to the May 11 meeting, most because of Mother's Day commitments, we've rescheduled our May meeting for Sunday, May 18.
Nancy has agreed to delay her guest appearance for a week. I'm glad that this is going to work out as she has to come from Tracy and I would like to have as large a turnout as possible. Read more

What's New?

"Tin Man was pretty cool. I didn't get to see the second part of it, so I've been looking for it to come on again. It sucks that you can't come to the sci-fi meetup this month. The guest who will be there seems pretty cool. Anyway, hope to see you at either meeting at some point. "
-
"Hi all. From Star Trek to Mystery Science Theater 3000....from The Twilight Zone to Battlestar....I must confess, I love a good sci-fi. I'm relatively new to Sonoma County and love conversing with interesting people. "

"Tin Man was awesome! wish I could make the next sci fi meetup, but I will be on my way to Austin. :("
-
"Hey, I just noticed you were a member of both the yarn addicts of santa rosa and the santa rosa science fiction meetup, like me. Hope to see you at either of them!"
-
"Into twilight zone and anything not anime. Don't worry, I don't hate it just not my thing. Maybe you can change my mind?"
-
"Especially interested in SciFi novels which explore how new technology reshapes society. That, and far-flung galaxy-spanning novels that extrapolate future human diversity, i.e., Neal Asher's "Gridlinked", "Brass Man", and Brin's "Startide Rising"."
-
"Hi, I'm big into scifi and would love to meet likeminded fellas! Favorite recent books include Charlie Stross's Accelerando, Robert Charles Wilson's Spin, and Greg Egan's Diaspora."
-
"Howdy, I enjoy the Sci and or Fi, I'm a fan of Firefly, the star wars, any and all things zombie, and the occasional appearance by patrick stewart. But not Shatner...Nemoy's ok...but NOT Shatner, he's fun, but he's just a handful."
-
"I'm a SF writer. I'm reading from Awesome Lavratt this Saturday, 1/12/08 at Mysterious Future. The reading begins at 2PM & includes several other authors. I'm a fan of Adams, Pratcett, Brin, Hogan. Love Dr. Who, FF, TW, Starhunter and Flash Gordon."
-
"Hi. I've been into sci-fi since I was a kid. I'm pretty into Star Wars and some other favorites have been Serenity, Torchwood, and, recently, Tin Man. "
