Welcome!
My name is Chris-Rachael Oseland, and I'm your Science Fiction Meetup organizer.
We met for a year and a half before becoming the official Louisville Science Fiction Meetup, so you'll find more people at the meetings than you see online.
We're a laid back group of people who like movies, conventions, and SF/F in every concievable form. Some of us have an inordinate fondness for Pirates.
Since we're a book club, we do have a Book of the Month. Most of us even read it. A couple times a year, we pick a new set of paperbacks for the coming months. You can find a complete list of all our book selections here.
Once we're done dissecting this month's book, conversation usually degenerates into movies, television, and random ramblings, most of it involving Science Fiction. (You'll find a lot of Battlestar Galactica lovers here, for instance.)
