In honor of the 233rd birthday of the United States of America, the theme of this meetup will be freedom and liberty in Star Trek. I will try to cover those themes through out all of the Star Trek series. Please feel free to join us at Jim Cartwright's place in Troy - across from Hudson Valley Community College. If there is anything you would like to bring, in addtion to yourselves, please do so This is a chance for you to join us and get to know us for those of you who are new to our group.

In the evening, there will be a fire works display which will be visible from Jim Cartwright's apartment. It will be from the Joseph Bruno Stadium.
