Every month we meet at the Science Fiction section of the Colfax Tattered Cover, and talk about the books we've been reading recently. Discussions start from there and can roam far, but often other books get suggested, other authors are discussed, and several times it's necessary to get up and browse through the stacks to remember a forgotten name or title.
Sometimes, a well-liked book will spark someone else's attention, and be loaned or bought to enjoy as well.
Meetings are often small and cozy - we don't usually have more than four people show up at a meetup, although it wouldn't be a problem if they did.
We meet up by the Science Fiction section. I often bring along a 'meetup' sign or button so that new folks can find me.
